Retaining Wall Builders in the Barossa Valley
Retaining Wall Builders
A retaining wall done properly starts long before the first sleeper or block goes in it starts with the earthworks behind it. As civil contractors, Total Earthworx builds retaining walls the way they should be built: correctly excavated, properly drained, engineered where required, and backfilled and compacted to specification.
The Barossa's sloping blocks, reactive soils and rocky ground make retaining walls a fact of life for many properties in the region. Whether you need a structural wall to create a level building pad, terracing for a sloping backyard, or a large-scale wall for a commercial or winery development, our team delivers walls built to last and we handle the whole job, from the first cut to the finished wall.

FAQs
How much does excavation cost?
It depends on the volume of material, ground conditions, site access and what happens to the spoil. Rock, tight access and long cartage distances add cost; good access and reusable spoil reduce it. We assess your site before quoting so there are no surprises.
Do you locate underground services before digging?
Yes. Service location is part of our standard process on every job before excavation begins.
Can you work on tight-access or sloping sites?
Yes. Tight-access residential blocks and sloping Barossa sites are our bread and butter. We match compact machinery to constrained sites and plan the works around your access.
Do you remove the spoil?
We can remove spoil from site, reuse it for fill where suitable, or a combination of both whatever work s best for your project and and budget. Cartage is priced into your quote up front.
