Common service trenching covers the trenching, bedding and backfill for underground services, typically water, sewer, stormwater and communications conduits, dug to the depth and clearance each service requires and reinstated to specification once the service is laid.
Do you handle electrical trenching as well?
Yes. Electrical trenching is carried out by our own crews, not subcontracted, so it’s coordinated as part of the same scope as your other trenching and earthworks.
What’s the difference between common service and electrical trenching?
Common service trenching covers water, sewer, stormwater and communications conduits. Electrical trenching is specifically for power reticulation and cable runs, which typically needs different depths, clearances and backfill treatment, we run both under one scope.
